Worldwide, Model Boating has been a part of human life since the early 1900’s, while small craft recreation dates back to the 18th Century.
Unlike RC Cars, Model Boat owners cannot just go to the nearest parking lot and map out a route. We need water. We need a pond, dam or river to practice our chosen trade and hobby.
With urban development and the ever expanding urban edge, water bodies are becoming scarce and it is our mission to advocate for the development, improvement, maintenance and protection of ponds and dams used by the model boating fraternity in Southern Africa.
